Each of the 119 works of Revisions is painted on a page from a 50-year-old bible using pastel dissolved with mineral spirits and acrylics. A few pieces also include charcoal ash. These works have reacted to the conflicting materials and untreated paper – they have faded or changed color. The changes might be considered appropriate to the subject, but I would now hesitate to sell them. The single work done in oils rather than acrylics has lasted well though – Revisions 25: The Last Coral Reef.
